We enjoyed our stay in this exclusive area of Oslo. The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and quiet. There was a supermarket and plenty of choices of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel.The breakfast was great with plenty of food. The staff were very friendly. Norway is incredibly, incredibly expensive. Let's just get that out of the way right from the start. In a county where prices are enough to leave you speechless, this Hotel offers tremendous value. This is a tricky hotel to find so if you arriving by train from the airport get a taxi. The front desk people were very nice. The room was perfectly adequate with tea and coffee making facilities included. Breakfast was also included in the price and very good. HUGE problems with the frint desk people. Basically they wanted to charge us for having to sleep on the floor-a long story. Basically the treatment was unacceptable.
