I booked my room through Priceline, and got a very good deal for a Saturday-night stay. Because the hotel is in the European Union district, I am assuming that it is very busy during the week, but much less so on weekends--especially in mid-November. For me, the hotel's location was very convenient: literally on top of a Metro station; and... more

Stayed for two nights at the Crowne Plaza Europa. The hotel is directly above Malbeek Metro Station, and travelling by Metro is minutes away from Central Station and train connections. Midi station is a 15 minute journey changing at Arts-Loi. Check-in was straightforward apart from the reception staff insisting that breakfast was not included in the rate, however after producing... more

if you come for sightseeing then it's not a good location. poor public transportation, no place to leave the car and no place to eat around if you stay during a weekend. hotel needs some refurbishing, rooms clean but used a bit, especially bathroom. helpful reception staff. more

4 star price but not 4 star quality. Should either take one or two stars off or alternativel;y give it a makeover. Room was non smoking as I think all fifth floor was. Room was stuffy dreary and need of a good makeover. Wear and tearr on furniture, mirror and bed stained. Breakfast was €25 a bit steep but a... more

Bad service, window was broken and we had to ask a staff member to close it in a "special" way, eg slamming it shut. Make sure to express preferences when you book because we were given a choice of either double smoking room or non-smoking twin room. Wouldn't say it's at the standard of a 3* hotel. more

On arrival at our hotel (at 11pm) we were greeted with extremely noisy drilling occuring on the road outside the hotel and were given a room overlooking this. The noise in the room was unbareable and couldn't be disguised. On calling reception we were told that the work would go on until 3am. I asked for another room and in... more

Overall the hotel was clean, well decorated and fairly efficient. The room was comfortable and spacious. We booked a deal on the internet which included Eurostar - if I'd paid full price I would have been peeved. There was some kind of drilling going on near the hotel which, for some reason, only started at 9pm. Yes, that's right in... more

we read some pretty dreadful reviews on here about this hotel (there are two crown plaza's in Brussels) this one is Crown Plaza-Europa. which most of the bad reviews were about, so we were a little apprehensive we arrived 2 hours before check in, but thought we'd maybe have a drink and wait, we were greeted by a lovely lady,... more
