Quite simply a stunning hotel. Yes it is not cheap but for the service one gets it is excellent value. The welcome at reception was highly professsional and a simple enquiry about visiting and viewing the `Last Supper` was immediately sorted by the Concierge for the next morning. We were shown to our room and this had a superb level... more
This was my second time at the Principe and it is always a pleasure. The reception staff was vey helpful and friendly, and the concierge very professional and effective. One added benefit is that you don't have to worry about all the extras you buy in Milano. When in the shops, just ask for your bags to be sent to... more
We stayed 6 nights at this fabulous hotel. Our suite 407/8 was huge at over 850 sq.ft. It included a large sitting room, two marble bathrooms and a large bedroom. We had room service bring breakfast everyday. The service here is wonderful. There is a stretch limo Mercedes that takes you into various areas for shopping or dining. Speaking of... more
Treat yourself! Hugely expensive but worth every cent! This must be one of the best hotels in Milan with prices to match. We stayed one night for business and had superb rooms with every convenience including flat screen tv, chocs, business facilities, slippers, the lot in fact. The room was big and spotlessly clean. Staff were professional but not overwhelming.... more
This hotel is like stepping into a stately home. You would expect to possibly feel out of place here but the reception staff make you feel like VIPs, taking you to your room personally. The service was exceptional, the best I've ever received. I would definately return once I've saved enough money to do so! more

So, it goes without saying that THIS is my type of Hotels ... very classical and classy, right to the last detail. Being Leading Hotels of the World members, we (my mum and I ) got upgraded upon check in, into a really... more
I found this hotel using Tripadvisor and as it was not one of the regular internation chain of hotels, I initially disregard this `gem'. After sorting the list of hotels by price this hotel turn up tops, even surpassing the Four Seasons Milan. So I looked up the hotel, and found that it was part of the Dorchester Collection. They... more
We have stayed at The Principe for five nights during July 2008. Once at the hotel we were checked in immediately, upgraded from a Principe junior suite to an elegant suite in the main building of the hotel and escorted to our room. The room was beutifully decorated with antique furniture and it was very spacious - almost 51sq.m. The... more
I stayed in the principe a number of times on business. My experience was always positive. Rooms: Although small in size the rooms feature all that one could want in terms of furnishings and exude a certain period charm. They are all very quiet. Toiletries are by Aqua di Parma and even Shaving Cream is provided, something not many Hotels... more
