Great location, very close to old port, rive neuve and Cours Julien which has some great restaurants. Rooms were small and musty, but opening a window trook care of that. Bathrooms, oddly, had been very nicely renovated - guess they haven't gotten around to the rest of the room. would recommend overall as a good value. more

We have just enjoyed a few days in Marseille at the Hotel Saint Ferreol. Very good location near to the old port, shops and within easy walk of all transport. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful giving us any advise on Marseille. Would definately stay again. The hotel offered all at a very resonable price. Highly recommended. more

We are fairly experienced with French hotels (30 years of annual holidays) and St Ferreol was typical - an elegant old building with a too small lift. Very friendly and helpful reception who knew we were arriving, room very clean and just enough space for a 3-night stay, but we are only average height! Good wardrobe space for a change... more

A lovely, little hotel off one of the pedestrian streets in the Vieux Port (Old Port). It was about a 15 minute walk with luggage from the train station, about two minutes walk to the waterfront. The hotel staff was wonderful. Great windows which kept out noise. Would stay there again. more

Hotel St. Ferreol located just of the rue Ferreol, one of Marseilles main shopping streets. Great during the daytime when the area is alive with shoppers but once the stores close it becomes a no mans land - a deserted street punctuated by piles of garbage awaiting collection from the stores and groups of youths hanging around on corners. The hotel is placed in the centre of Marseille, near the main shopping district and 5 minutes away from the Port. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was an average size for a *** European hotel. Everything was clean, and it comes with free wireless internet & air-con. I'd happily return someday :) more
