This hotel has a very good central location just next to the conference centre and was within walking distance of the shops, restaurants, bars and parks. Our room was on the 9th floor and overlooked the city, we had a kingsize bed and usual comforts such as hairdryer, toiletries, iron, mini bar, TV, kettle etc. We ate out in Harrogate... more

Booked this B&B rate through laterooms, £99. Not too bad for a hotel in Harrogate at Xmas, wouldn't pay it anywhere else though. This hotel is lovely. We had a room on the 8th floor, which overlooked the whole town. The bed was a king size, the room tastefully decorated with nice facilities. Shower wasn't very powerful, my only disappointment... more

Dear eurocityhopper I was pleased to read that you enjoyed your stay at the Holiday Inn. I only regret that the shower pressure didn't meet your expectations, however, this will be investigated. I hope that we have the opportunity to welcome you back to the hotel in the near future. Kind regards, David Morgan General Manager

My husband and I really liked this hotel on our weekend away. The staff were really friendly, we booked a standard room and the room was of a good size. The bathroom was modern and very clean. They even provide a pillow menu just in case you don't like the medium support pillows they give you. I have never seen... more

Have just stayed 2 nights at H.I, in Harrogate. Arrived Sunday afternoon for Monday shopping in harrogate and a concert on the evening. The room was fine -what you would expect> Price of £69 for B & B was decent value. Breakfast on Monday was fine but on the Tuesday when many concert goers arrived for breakfast I dont think... more

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights as we were attending a Barbershop Convention at the HIC. It was a late booking and after reading some of the poor reviews on Trip Advisor we were a bit concerned. However, our concerns were unfounded. On arrival by car (about 14.30) we easily found a car parking... more

We stayed in a twin room for the night. The room was fine and breakfast was lovey. The problem was the people in the next room who kept us up most of the night thus ruining what should have been a pleasant stay! more

One thing some people maybe don't know is that Holiday Inn hotels are not Holiday Inn owned but owned by several different operators hence the quality varies, You would expect in a super town like Harrogate with its tourism and conference trade it would be awash with good hotels - but it isn't and this Holiday Inn (really a Moat... more

Dear BrianOxon Thank you for taking the time to post a review on Tripadvisor following your recent stay at my hotel. First and foremost, I wish to apologise as it is evident that you had a less than enjoyable stay. Customer service is at the heart of what we do and I was therefore naturally disappointed to read your comments....

An totally below average experience. The hotel carpark is way too small and the only othe roption is on street parking but you have to be up to move your car before 8am. Not ideal if you are there for the weekend. The reception staff were and check in took a long time, despite there not being a long queue.... more

Very nice, centrally located hotel. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff very helpful and check in was faultless despite them having to deal with 100s of other guests who were checking in for a conference at the same time. As a result of the conference the hotel can feel a little crowded. The breakfast was superb with as much... more
