Was in the Glenturret Suite, and it was epic. We spent the first 20 minutes taking photos of it! Bathroom was ace, and the enormous roof terrace wasn't expected at all. The room itself was light and airy, had a great bed, and the electrically operated curtains were a novelty. We got Bvlgari toiletries! However, breakfast was farcical. Bear in... more

I was very disappointed with my stay at the Glasshouse, especially as this was a birthday present to my partner. In our opinion this is not a 5 star hotel. The Heating/Air conditioning rattled so badly that we had to turn it off during the night to get some sleep. Consequently the room got very cold overnight. The television was... more

I have read a few other reviews were noise seems to be a problem at this hotel but we stayed here at a weekend and didnt hear a thing. We had a massive balcony to enjoy and the room was just amazing. We had so much space and the bathroom was lovely. I would stay here again, the location is... more

I was very excited when I found out I would be staying at The Glasshouse on a recent business trip but the experience was a terrible let down. Sadly the beautiful chruch facade is exactly that, a facade. Once inside the hotel the interior never lives up to the same beauty, with tacky 90's decor and laminate flooring in the... more

Have stayed here twice. It's a great hotel, extremely modern and contemporary in design. Rooms are lovely with high quality bedding, flat screen tvs and Korres shower accessories. It is a luxury hotel in a great location. True 5 star. Staff are fantastic. There is a great rooftop terrace where you can enjoy a drink in the summer and some... more

Fabulous hotel, excellent staff, very very nice indeed. Loved the details, made the place feel very special. It is a rambling hotel, it's not a straightforward tower-block type place but if it were you wouldn't have such a great roof terrace. Even in November this was a great place to be! The snug was a nice little place too. It... more

We stayed at the Glasshouse for four days and had a good time - but whilst there were some very real plus points, some other things let the hotel down. Pluses are the hotel's unusual design and beautiful roof top garden - we stayed in November but in the summer it would be fabulous. The hotel is also nicely presented... more

Staying in the glasshouse was a great experience!!! Rooms were great, both shower and bed.....bed just seems to make you sleep like in a coma!!! :) fantastic! good location, not bang in the centre but still close enough. 5 mins to princes street. right next to playhouse theatre, good if you plan to see a show and right next to... more

We stayed here Thursday 30th & Friday 31st Oct 2008. Upon arrival we were greeted by the very friendly and helpful doorman. To our surprise (and benefit) we had been upgraded from a standard room to a suite, without asking. The Bowmore Suite (named after whiskey) to which you recieve a free decanter of in the suite, was excellent, amazing... more

The check-in was okay but not exactly overly-friendly for 5star. The bell boy was slightly more talkative as he led us about 10mins to the back of beyond. We were looking forward to a view of the roofgarden but instead were looking at the office blocks. How romantic. The room was rather tastefull..although somewhat male orientated....half clad ladies in an... more
