I stopped here for one night on a weekend visit to see my friend in ireland, it had the usual quality of a travelodge, comfy be, clean spacious room, large shower, 3pm check in and 12pm check out (great when you got in late), it is next door to a wetherspoons where you can get breakfast for about £3, compared... more

We arrived at the Travelodge on a Sunday night to find the hotel staff had lost our reservation. A group of four, we reserved two rooms using the goireland.ie website. We showed the manager our confirmation emails proving payment and the reservation for two rooms; he then told us that all rooms were full for the night except one (and... more

Stayed for 1 night group of fellas out for a night in Derry. 3 in each room, 3 single beds and a tv with te/coffee making facilities also. Can't complain about it at all, was only £65 a room and breakfast next door for £2.10...obviously wasn't gourmet breakfast but it was 100% to give you the cure after a day/nights... more

I stayed at this hotel for one night, just needing basic, clean accommodations, nothing fancy. I was assuming the images on the website where an actual representation of the hotel itself. But, they probably where pictures of a newly constructed hotel, somewhere else in the country. Upon arriving to the room, the hallways had an smell of cigarette smoke and... more

Stayed here for the Whitsun weekend last month, as wanted to escape the rain and cold in England for a few days. Taxi from Derry airport was £14, which wasn't bad really! hotel is right in the centre, so a great location, and near to everything The staff were really welcoming and friendly and fell over themselves to help and... more

My partner and i stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Derry to see a feis. The hotel is cheap and cheerful. Rooms are comfortable, clean, smallish with poor views. Our bathroom was small and had a big dirty crack in the sink which was disgusting. There was a lot of night noise outside so you dont open the window... more

I had been in donegal for my sisters wedding and thought it would be prudent to book a hotel in Derry as I had to make an early connection to Belfast. Having booked this hotel to ensure that I would making an early connection to Belfast, I was very dissapointed when the hotel reception staff failed to ring through my... more

Having read some of the negative comments about Derry Travelodge on the website I did arrive with scaled down expectations, even though I'd only paid £29 for the twin room. For anyone who is put off or unsure having read the comments please be reassured... Derry Travelodge is basically fine. We found the receptionist welcoming, the large foyer warm and... more

My partner and i stayed here for 2 nights whilst in Derry to see a show. The hotel is standard budget, no-frills. Rooms are comfortable, clean, smallish with poor views (ours was over the kitchen). Good, reasonably central location. Breakfast is available at a ridiculous rate- try the Wetherspoons next door!! The rooms don't have hair-dryers although they can be... more
