Reality is that Marble's problem is it's remote. Now, I can say this having grown up in Corner Brook. It is reality folks. It has come light years since I learned to ski there in high school. Over new year 2005/6, we went to Humber Valley Resort, about 10 km from Steady Brook. Having never skied before, we wanted somewhere to learn in relative safety and peace. Firstly it must be pointed out that Marble Mountain is more of a hill, with only 33 or so runs. However for a few days of skiing or boarding it can be really good fun. The Corkscrew has to be one of the most fun runs I have done with its tight turns and great speed. If you visit Marble... more

I visited Marble Mountain for a week in March 05 and it was absolutely amazing! First and foremost, in 4 days of snowboarding there was never more than 4 people in line for the high speed quad. I live in Corner Brook, about a 20 min. drive to Marble Mountain. This resort is full of awesome terrain for all. If you have never came to here before, well you should the staff are excellent and the people are really friendly. So if you want a great getway come to Marble Mountain SKi resort. more
