Casino is small and outdated but go for the food. I do throw some money in the video poker while waiting for my table and have won some money on occasion. 6.95 Steak dinner !! This is buy far the best deal in Vegas.. $6.95 steak dinner isnt on the menu. You simply ask the server for it ! You... more

Based on other reviews we tried Ellis Island for their steak dinner for $6.99. It was worth the walk. It was a good size steak, vegetable, soup or salad, potatoe and their micro brew. It was all very good. No complaints. more

My husband and I (both 30) went to Vegas for a long weekend and actually stayed at Bally's. He had been doing some checking around online and came across Ellis Island and thought we should give it a try since it is right behind Bally's. We checked into the hotel at midnight and went over to EI for some drinks... more

We were introduced to this great place a few years ago by friends who live in Vegas. We were staying at the Tuscany Suites, just around the block, for a large convention Labour Day weekend. We ate breakfast here every morning, as well as 1 lunch and 1 dinner, during our 5 day stay. The $4.95 steak & eggs, $6.95... more

This was smaller than I had imagined it would be.We ate here at the portions were big, the $2 beer was ok too. Not really sure if I would reccomend that people go here or not, its off the strip and seems to be where the locals go. You can also place low bets here, seemed a nice friendly place... more

If you like drunks and bums this place is for you. If you gamble and win, they act like you're cheating. Rude floor supervisors. They were cussing at the dealer because we were winning. The supervisor said "that cock sucker is counting." All I won was fifty dollars. more

We went to Ellis Island based upon other reviews and because we were looking forward to a Casino that brewed its own beer. Based upon the reviews, we knew we were getting an off the beaten path location without the glitz and glamour. The idea of gambling a little in an average setting and drinking some brew pub beer appealed... more

I only tried two things at Ellis Island, and they were both among the best values in Vegas. First is the steak and eggs breakfast for $5! That's right - FIVE DOLLARS. This gets you two eggs, a small sirloin steak, delicious hash browns, and two slices of toast. Doesn't come with a drink but still, great value. Would come... more

The chicken fried steak is amazing and the price very reasonable. We were so impressed we took pictures! The casino and restaurant were both clean and comfortable. We went because I had read the reviews on Trip Advisor. more

I visit Vegas 4 0r 5 times a year and ALWAYS visit Ellis Island. The restaurant is superb for quality, service and a nice laid back atmosphere. I have always found the dealers and pit bosses, especially the day shift, to be very efficient and friendly. It's certainly not a glitzy casino like ones on the Strip but it certainly... more
