don't waste your time. Coupons brought us to this coupon, and we ere enjoying ourselves for a little while. We found the dealers to be very rude. One was so rude we just left. We skipped out before the steak or more gambling due to the very rude and unprofessional behavior of one dealer. more

The beer here was great. Too bad they don't name them (just dark lager, light lager, etc - they aren't even lagers!). A good beer selection was hard to find in Vegas, I'm used to all the microbrews on the East Coast, but Ellis Island was a treat. $1 drafts are the bar, $1.50 in the restaurant. The food here... more

Any one heading to Vegas needs to make a stop at Ellis Island if you like beer, ribs, and BBQ chicken. Found the food really good. But, found there home brew beer excellent. Just wish I could have put more away. It was well above what you buy in stores and better than most micro brewries. more

Attention Attention! If you are in Las Vegas you have to go to Ellis Island Casino and Brewery for the $6.99 Sirloin Steak Special. It isn't even listed on the menu! This giant steak is cooked to perfection and comes with a huge baked potato, salad and green beans. It gets crouded around dinner time, so get there early, or... more

My friend and I went to Ellis Island in August of 2007 and December of 2007. Within that time period, the prices nearly doubled on a lot of the menu items. The prices are still reasonable in comparison to the strip; however, they have gone up. The .99 cent egg special is now 2.99. Specials are now 2 dollars more... more

Went to Ellis Island on recommendation of friend. There were 6 of us and the bill was $44. Steak was absolutely awesome, cooked perfect, green beans were the best I've ever had (and I don't even really like green beans), didn't eat the potato but the salad was crisp and fresh. All the beer you wanted was also included. The... more

I'm a local Las Vegan and heard about Ellis Island Ribs on the cooking channel on TV. It was talked about as being one of the best kept secrets in Las Vegas. IT IS!!!! The ribs were fantastic, being juicy and tender and fall off the bone good. The price for what you get, a very full platter, is the... more

There are a few places in Vegas that I frequent every time I am there. I am usually there every fall and spring, while on my way to wintering in Mexico, and spend a week to ten days each way in Vegas. The food here is most excellent and dollar value per pound, it can not be beat anywhere in... more

If you are new to gambling, this place is great. The tables are practically empty, are 5 .00 minimum and the staff will go slow and teach you the game and the protocols of table games. As you gamble, the waitress will come by and offer you a complementary pint of their microbrew multiple times. I have been to other... more

I can't say that I'm in love with Vegas the way some people are, but our last trip there gave me two reasons to like it a whole lot more: Ellis Island and the Double Down Saloon. At Ellis Island, two good steak dinners and several beers will cost you less than $20. That's reason enough to go right there.... more
