I had always been a big fan of Penn and Teller and was really looking forawrd to this show. I really liked the initial welcoming atmosphere of the pre-show. You could walk up on stage and examine a box that would be used later. There was great jazz entertainment in the pre-show period. The welcoming environment ended quickly. I was... more
Love their "Bulls***" show on Showtime, so decided to see Penn & Teller in Vegas. Really enjoyed the show, which is truly a skeptic's delight: be warned that they are not afraid to skewer any sacred cows. This show resonated with me because I happen to agree with their obvious philosophy of not taking anything on sheer faith but rather... more
We went to see Penn and Teller on Wednesday March 4, 2009. It was so cool, They ask for a volunteer and I raised my hand and was lucky enough to get on stage and do a trick with them, It was a scarf trick and I got to keep the prop at the end. I can't say enough about... more
First off, I need to say that I WAS a Penn and Teller fan before watching their show. I adored the mouth of Penn and the silence of Teller. The problem I had with their show was it was NOTHING new. Imagine Penn's mouth going on and on for 30 mins as an introduction for his...(drumroll please) juggling broken bottles... more
We saw Penn & Teller last week in Las Vegas. Their show was great. It was extremely entertaining, with a good mix of magic tricks and comedy. These guys are really good at what they do. We loved it. more
After seeing Believe the night before we needed to find a show that would restore my faith in Las Vegas shows. Penn & Teller did not disappoint. There show was fast funny and had you going "how did they do that" All 4 of us enjoyed the show and the 2 teens we had with us were so impressed that... more
Went to see Penn & Teller on 4/5/09 in Las Vegas. Live Jazz took place in the hour before the show, as did some other surprises. The Penn & Teller portion of the evening lasted about an hour and a half. It was very entertaining and well worth the $50 on the tickets. We sat in the 5th row, and... more
My wife insists we see Penn & Teller every time we hit Vegas. They've got so much material that every show is different. They are, of course, fabulous magicians, illusionists, diversionists - actually, all of these and more. And so entertaining, funny, witty, sarcastic - often relying on shock appeal. One of their games is to expose how tricks are... more
Saw Penn & Teller on 3/24/09 and thought the show was good and different, but not enough magic for me. Alot of talking to explain what was going on. I love magic and what they did was amazing, but I was looking for more pizzazz and didn't get it. more
