We had never been into La Bayou so we swung in there. We were greeted at the door with beads and drawing tickets. Seriously, has anybody ever heard of a person winning these drawings they have at La Bayou and Mermaids? I realize that the odds are terrible, but what do they do with the tickets? My wife and i visit Las Vegas about twice a year, and no trip could be complete without a few stops at La Bayou on Freemont street. If your looking for service than this is the place to go. Within seconds of entering the casino you are offered cocktails immediately. This is a great place to start the evening if... more

We got lured into La Bayou on Freemont Street by the girls out front handing out beads and draw tickets. While waiting for the draw I sat down to play a penny machine and got bombarded by waitresses offering drinks. It's a relatively small place and there seemed to be a lot of waitresses working. Compared to the strip hotels... more

always have to go to la bayou casino when in vegas--friendly atmosphere, cheap drinks and machines give out quarters instead of tickets which i love! Have to stop in even if its just for a free set of beads!! Colleen Fla. more

Our first trip to Las Vegas was to Celebrate Our 25th Anniversary!! La Bayou helped us do just that!! It was alot of fun and the girls there were so friendly and the manager was a sweetheart as well!!! Been Downtown twice and each time loved the time we spent at La Bayou. Last time my wife hit on the Betty Boop slots for 5,000 nickles ($250) and the time before my luck was almost as good on good ol' Betty. The best way is to drop a $20 into the Betty nickle machine and cash out. No TITO... more

Our first time to Vegas and we found this little place on Freemont Street ...a small casino...We had the best time ever here....The beads are given when you walk in with entries for a free slot pull. Just walking through and you are offered a drink...right then and there. The quarters played a little tight, but the nickles and pennies... more

This place has it all. Great service, VERY stiff drinks at a 1/4 the price. The waitresses are friendly and the management mingles with guests. A great atmosphere. I will definately be going back! more
