Firstly, the only reason I gave it a 3/5 is because when you look at all the other hotels you realise how dated The Riviera looks. Right, the hotel itself I can't really say is bad. It's not. The staff were pleasant, the rooms are recently refurbished and the price was very good.Apart from the rooms the rest of the... more

My boyfriend and I just got back from Vegas were we stayed at the Riviera for the first time. Upon checking in, they told me the smoking room I had requested when I booked the trip was not availale and probably wouldn't be. I expressed my disapointment and the employee persisted in arguing with me and telling me it wasn't... more

I want to first adress postings from others about the staff at this casino being rude. If you take a close look around the casino floor, you will see that the caliber of some of the patrons in this place is not the best (kinda sketchy). So I'm quite sure that would get on anyones nerves after a while. After any... more

We didn't stay here, just dropped in to the casino for a bit. The parking is confusing and we ended up walking a long way through a pretty sketchy area. I have mixed feelings about this casino because, while it was a bit tired and the dealers were extremely rude, the slots paid out pretty well and pretty frequently. If... more

I recently played here for about 4 days when I also stayed at the hotel. The dealers and pit crew were all very friendly and made my girlfriend and I feel very welcome to play here and just helped us have a great time. The late night/early morning craps crew were especially great. Overall, a great experience at this casino. more

My wife and I took a vacation to Las Vegas last year. While there, we went to the Riviera Casino on the strip. We Placed a $50.00 bet on Keno. This bet would cover fifty seperate games of Keno and we did not have to be present to watch the games. We would have many days to come back and... more

Visited the Casino, late one nite (walked from the Stardust) and played the 3-5-9 poker and enjoyed it so much, stayed on it several hours. The dealers were jovial and helpful. Went to the high roller cage nearby and had a successful venture with a Flaming Seven machine. Went to the nickel machine area looking for the mysterious restrooms that... more

Was in Vegas in early December and wanted to see a couple of topless Vegas type shows. Saw Midnight Fantasy at the Luxor and it was fantastic - great dancers, hilarious comedienne and a super tap dancer. Great Vegas type show!! For the same price the next night I went to see Crazy Girls and it was terrible! The dancers... more
