I finally gave into my wife after about 3 years and decided to give SPEED THE RIDE a chance. The only reason why I was hesistant all those years is because they wanted about $8 per person per ride and the ride is probably less than 30 seconds. Speed The Ride in my opinion is the best of the coasters in Vegas but they way they were operating it in May '05 was maddening. It seemed like they were trying to keep the number of ride cycles to a minimum. Once the previous riders had left the station the next riders were not allowed to board for 15... more

Speedworld is an excellent choice for those chosing to visit with their families..The rollecoaster is a blast (70mph launch) and the virtual reality race cars are fun even if you do not like NASCAR more
