This was a highlight on our recent trip. The tour lasts about an hour, and requires a bit of walking. The old signs are very interesting, and the tour guide gives you a great history behind each of them, too. This is not just for photography buffs. Location is a bit out of the way, in not the greatest part... more

I didn't get to take the boneyard tour, but there are several restored signs along Freemont Street. There are plaques near some of them, but you can print out a list and more information from the neon museum website. There are also several that according to the plaques are new - 2007. It gives a nice feel for the older... more

I went on the Boneyard Tour at the end of October with some people I met from the forum. The guide was very well informed and quickly answered any questions we had. The staff of the museum was courteous enough to wait for us when our cab driver let us off at the wrong place. I think its an amazing... more

This review is actually for the Neon boneyard tour which is different to the Neon musueum (which isnt a museum, but a collection of restored neon signs dotted around the Fremont Street experience). They are both done by the same people, but the boneyard tour is where all of the old signs are kept prior to possible future restoration. The... more

Took a tour of the "boneyard" of neon signs through the Neon Museum. The Museum is saving and hoping to restore to former glory many of the original neon signs that beckoned folks back in the day. The Coin Castle King, Barbary Coast, Sassy Sallys, Aladins lamp, Silver Slipper and any number of Binions and Golden Nugget signs are there... more

Nice way to spend a couple of hours and get away from the Strip. Good cultural history of Vegas and a lot of neat signs. In a few years this is going to be turned into an official museum, and you won't be able to get as close to the signs as you can now, so be sure to check... more

What lovely people run the Neon Museum. Even if you're stupid enough to turn up on the day after you've booked for they still let you on the tour!! One of the highlights of my trip - a chance to see a little bit of Vegas history in a town that only seems to look forward not back. Very knowledgable... more

First of all: the "Neon Museum" refers to the dozen or so already restored signs at the Fremont St Experience. The Neon Boneyard however has to be booked in advance via the neon museum's website. They do not allow ad-hoc viewings. All the relevant info is on the website. the boneyard is located about a 15 min walk north of... more

We (eight of us, ranging from 11 to 70 years of age) recently visited the Las Vegas Neon Museum and Boneyard, and recommend it! There are precious few affordable and intelligent cultural experiences available in LV, but this is one of them. A great break from the midday depressing atmosphere in the casinos, this trip to the outskirts of town... more

I thought this would be a interesting tour to do and was correct. You do need to make a reservation in advance as the tours are small and only several a day. You'll see loads of signs and learn facts about the different casinos and what was going on thruout the growth of Sin City. Our guide (didn't catch his... more
