Neon Museum – This is something I thought was pretty cool. You didn’t see a museum like this in most cities. You have to reserve a spot on their tours before you arrive in Vegas. The neon Museum is a non-for-profit organization that stores and restores old neon Vegas signs from destruction. They rent property from the city for $1... more

Fun, informative tour and totally worth the 15 bucks! Our tour guide, Mitch, had some amazing stories and gave us a great history lesson on the old Las Vegas. Very cool to see the old signs remembered from years past. If you love all things Vegas, this is a definite must see!! more

Came across this surfing the Web. A non-profit group is collecting old signs from Vegas. A few have been restored and are on display on Fremont Street. The collection includes hundreds and hundreds of old signs, dominated by all the pieces of the HUGE Stardust sign that used to sit across from Wynn. Unfortunately, many of the old Vegas signs... more

My mom and I were able to get advanced reservations for the tour. I am so glad we went. It was very neat to see all of old Las Vegas here in the boneyard. They plan on getting spots and refurbishing the signs for use one day! Volunteer tour guide very knowledgable! more

We visited the Boneyard, which is related to the Neon Museum. You have to contact them ahead, in order to reserve a tour date/time. The tour is 1.5 hours long, cost is $15 and totally worth it. There were about 20 people in our group. The signs are in two parking lots, behind a secured fence. The girl from the... more

While in Vagas after Christmas we went to visit the Neon Musuem - the Boneyard. It was one of the best tours of the trip, and quite frankly one of the best tours I have taken on any vacation. You need to email and book a tour in advance, when we went they were having an open house day, so... more

This was a highlight on our recent trip. The tour lasts about an hour, and requires a bit of walking. The old signs are very interesting, and the tour guide gives you a great history behind each of them, too. This is not just for photography buffs. Location is a bit out of the way, in not the greatest part... more

I didn't get to take the boneyard tour, but there are several restored signs along Freemont Street. There are plaques near some of them, but you can print out a list and more information from the neon museum website. There are also several that according to the plaques are new - 2007. It gives a nice feel for the older... more

I went on the Boneyard Tour at the end of October with some people I met from the forum. The guide was very well informed and quickly answered any questions we had. The staff of the museum was courteous enough to wait for us when our cab driver let us off at the wrong place. I think its an amazing... more

This review is actually for the Neon boneyard tour which is different to the Neon musueum (which isnt a museum, but a collection of restored neon signs dotted around the Fremont Street experience). They are both done by the same people, but the boneyard tour is where all of the old signs are kept prior to possible future restoration. The... more
