As a big roller coaster fan, I knew that I definitely wanted to give the Manhattan Express a try when I went to las Vegas, despite the many poor reviews I had read. Unfortunately, the reviews were correct. First, it cost $14 for one ride. The wait was very short, under five minutes. The ride itself, however, was brutal. It... more

I hated this ride, and feel as though I have whip-lash from it, yet my child had no problems riding it 9 times. I am a roller coaster lover and yet will never ride this particular one again. Apparently the front is less jarring than the rear. I was on the second to last car. My screams were screams of... more

This ride is ridiculously overpriced, BUT it is such fun that I'd recommend spending the money. We didn't have the issues with being bounced around or injured that other reviewers experienced. We had an amazing view of the strip at night while on this ride -- or, I should say, my husband did -- my eyes were tightly shut for... more

$14 for a single ride? I think it's quite unacceptable, although I do have to admit there are discounts for 2nd ride tickets purchased at the same time ($7) or all day tickets ($25). However, I didn't have the time while sightseeing to ride this roller coaster several times. I was also staying at a hotel on the north end... more

Currently the prices on this are $14 per ride, or $25 for an all-day pass. I would opt for the all-day pass, but when I went on this, it was the last run of the night! There was four of us wanting to ride, so we went with the "family" option. With this, you get tickets for 4 and two... more

The Manhattan Express is my favorite rollercoaster in Las Vegas. It's located at New York, New York Hotel. The ride is about 2-3 minutes long (longer than any ride in Vegas) and the speed is 67 mph. There are no weight requirements, however the height requirement is 54 inches (4 1/2 feet tall). Open daily: Sunday - Thursday 11am-11pm Friday... more

My fiance and I love rollercoasters so we wanted to ride the manhatten express, but didn't really want to pay $14 each to ride. I kept an eye out for a coupon and finally found one for $4 off. There are lockers (50 cents) to store belonings since you can't take them on the ride. The ride was short, but... more

I loved this roller coaster. I love roller coasters in general. Yes it was a little short, but some of the best coasters do not need length. Its the positive and negative vertical G's that make the difference. It was awsome rolling past the statue of liberty, and going into a sprial and immediately into a 1/2 loop down. The... more

The ride was a little bumpy, but not too bad. I love rollercoasters, but thought this one was a little boring. It was also extremely overpriced and quite short. That said, I'm glad I rode it once, just to have another rollercoaster experience to compare, but definitely NOT worth a second ride. more

I road this for the first time in July 2006. Let's just say I won't be riding it this summer. The ride is very rough. The entire time, my head was being bashed around. After I got off the ride I had the worst headache and backache. I love rollercoasters and this one is a major disappointment. Waste of money... more
