My wife and I often visit zoos or aquariums when away so we were looking forward to this attraction after hearing about it. I was thinking that as it was in Vegas it would be on a large scale. How wrong I was. When entering you’ve given a device to listen to information about each of the exhibits. There are... more

This is a nice thing to do on a hot day. Very informative and well done. Variety of sea life and Coral Reef displays. Pihranna's, sharks, jelly fish, crocodiles, kimono dragon (sp?) and cool looking fish that you'd never see on your own. $17/adult, I think $12/child. Photo ops, gift shop. They give you a telephone-like audio unit that you... more

This was our first visit to an aquarium where our young girls (9,6,4, and 7 months) would remember because they are older and we had our camera. We have yet to go to seaworld so we can't compare it to it. They loved it. If we go back soon, it will be our first stop. We had the girls ,... more

My husband & I took our 2 small kids to Shark Reef. When we went there was hardly anyone there. We entered 1 hour before closing time. The girls LOVED the touch tank where you can touch rays. They also enjoyed going through the tunnel & trying to count all the different types of fish they saw. Yes, for JUST... more

Nice little side trip to being in Vegas, great for the kids and families. Love the "Indiana Jones" feel of the place, lots of fun and not too pricey for Vegas. more

This is a nice small aquarium. It has little hand sets that you type a number into and it tells you all about the animals you are looking at. Fun and interactive. My 7 year old daughter loves it! We have been about 3 times now! Not bad for an aquarium in a casino. Definately not huge, this is not... more

Nothing new to see here and not very clean. The flow of the layout is off, with lots of congestion occurring early in the tour. The audio tour headset was great and my 4 and 6 year old enjoyed that. Our favorite exhibit was the jellyfish. Otherwise, this is not an impressive aquarium. more

We visited the shark reef at mandalay bay during a vegas trip about 4 years ago. Mandalay Bay is original - with the odd body art on the walls, the huge beach-like pool, the younger restaurants. We were just surprised at how much it cost to see the exhibit (whatever happened to vegas being cheap?). But they have lots of... more

Overall, i enjoyed our visit to Shark Reef and it was nice to get off the strip for a while into this tranquil setting. There were way to many children around though as i was redely bumped into by one so probs try to avoid times when children are likly to be in force! My husband and i were slightly... more

For our recent Las Vegas wedding-moon (a honeymoon trip that also incorporated the actual wedding ceremony), we wanted to stray off the beaten path. While there's a multitude of glamorous (and not-so-glamorous) wedding chapels, to fit most everyone's taste, personality and budget, we wanted to do something very memorable, something unique. Since we both grew up at the beach, we've... more
