This is not a huge aquarium, but it’s very nicely designed with interesting exhibits. We spent an hour here, and felt it was worth the $16.95 per person. Audioguides are provided, as well as a souvenir color photo booklet to help identify fish. We enjoyed the multiple reef tanks, the Komodo dragon, the surreally beautiful jellyfish exhibit, and the shark... more

The shark reef at Mandalay Bay was something we had not seen during our trips to Las Vegas. We thought it may be fun to take our toddlers there. Overall it was much less fun than we expected, especially after waiting in line to pay the admission, which in itself is in my opinion slightly on the high side for... more

Save your money for a "real" aquarium. We paid almost $60.00 for a family of three and the attraction only takes about 30minutes to go through. It is not worth the money. more

It was too short, boring and worth 1/2 the admission price at best. more

My husband and I decided to check out the shark reef and were quire pleased with the experience. You do get to see a lot of marine life and the underwater tunnel is especially cool. We didn't bother with the recorded tour guide, but it is available if you want to learn a little. This would be a great place... more

We enjoyed our walk through the aquarium and my daughter 4 year old daughter especially liked touching a sting ray and the jellyfish tank. I did however think the price of admission was a little steep for the fact that you can completely walk through in about an hour. more

We did enjoy the aquarium and would recommend it, however... We had been led to believe that it was much larger than it actually is. You are given an audio wand to listen to information about the exhibits. We listened to very one and we were still out within the hour. It’s about $17 per adult entry. There was a... more

Visited the Shark Reef Aquarium located in the Mandalay Bay Hotel on Friday July 17th, 2009. If you are traveling with young kids this is a great family friendly attraction . The admission price was relatively inexpensive; $16.95 for adult tickets and $10 for kids over 5 years old. The aquarium provided a devise that gave a pre-recorded narrative about... more

We stopped by the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay on our honeymoon and enjoyed it. Some people who frequent lots of zoos might think it's a bit small, but I found it to be a pretty good size for it being in a hotel. The admission isn't too bad for Vegas, and the tunnels you can walk through and the... more

We enjoyed our visit to Shark Reef, located @ Mandalay Bay. It is North America’s only predator-based aquarium and exhibit, there were over 2,000 kind of animals at such as sharks, sawfish, giant rays, green sea turtles, piranha, moon jellies and Kimono dragon (our favourite!). It is worth seeing. more
