We have been berated at every corner by the staff here.... "keep walking"... "no loitering"... "this is an adult town"... "kids have to be behind that line"... "Sir, no kids on your shoulders on Casino property"... and we have only been here 24 hours! We have stayed at Belagio, Mandalay Bay, Venetian, and Paris and never once had any issues.... more

My friend and I (2 girls in our 20's) booked a Vegas weekend getaway on a budget. We flew out to Vegas on April 17, 2009 to see The Killers play at The Joint at The Hard Rock and we stayed until the 21st. We got a great deal on Expedia so we weren’t expecting too much. When we arrived... more

Well worth the extra bucks to ride the thrill rides at the top of the tower. The view is good, but the rides are the real attraction. more

Please be aware that the rides on the Stratosphere can be shut down at any time, with little or no warning. We were there on Friday, July 3. We bought three tickets to access the Tower (yes, you have to PAY to see the view, a Tower only ticket costs $15.95!!), plus two ride tickets apiece for my two children,... more

I'm not afraid of heights, but even I was terrified when I went on the rides on top of the Stratosphere Tower. The first one is similar to the Giant Drop at Six Flags Great America, except it's atop a 100 story building. We decided to go just after midnight during our trip and the view is amazing! The drop... more

I am NOT a very picky person, really, but I wouldn't stay there again. 1. The room was non-smoking but the bathroom smelled like an ash tray, no joke. The room reeked of smoke. 2. The toilet didn't flush the morning I was leaving 3. The shower head literally pushed the water through with such force that it hurt to... more

We had been talking about going for a spin on the Big Shot for ages so we bit the bullet and gave it a go. Having been on this type of ride numerous times at Oktoberfest I though it was ridiculous that you only got a 20 second ride - once up once down and a half bit in between.... more

The Stratosphere tower is definitely worth checking out for a awesome views of Vegas. It's kind of pricey just to go up in a tower, but it's comparable to the Hancock Observatory in Chicago and probably any other city, and it's really worth it. It's kind of way up by itself, but it's not too bad. more

What can be more scary than being shot up in the air with a view of the Vegas Strip... on the worlds tallest ride at 1100 feet? The free fall is unbelievable...I rode this ride for the first time 13 years ago and 13 years later it doesnt disappoint. They take your photo at the top for extra laughs.... more

This hotel is probably the worst hotel I have ever been to. First off the room they gave us was horrible. When you walk in to turn on the lights they flicker once then twice and then the third times the charm. You can hear people in the hallway/other room. When the other shower goes on in a different room... more
