I stayed at the Stratosphere for about 5 days and got a room with our group at a group rate. The rooms provided were the budget of the budget. I would probably recommend and tell everyone, unless $40-$60 a night is an absolute must, upgrade to the premium wing if you like nicer rooms. The budget wing I was in... more

The views from the top of the tower are pretty amazing. The cost for the tower only was $14 a person, that doesn't include any of the thrill rides. We did the Strat tower during the day for great views of the surrounding mountains & the Eiffel Tower at night for a better view of the Strip. There is an... more

One of the problems sometimes, in my opinion, is that many people seem to believe bigger is always better. The Stratosphere Tower is certainly huge, but it doesn't offer a very good view of the Strip. It's definitely not the BEST view you can get...that would be the Eiffel Tower. Why is this?? It's simple...the Tower is on the far... more

went to the Strat whilst staying at the Bellagio - basically to use the Tower and the wife to scare the pants off me on the rides before we sky dived later on in the week!!! See the review of skydivelasvegas for further details ?!?!?!?!?!? Firstly this part of the strip does look very tired compared to the other newer... more

The Stratosphere may be a bit run-down, but it's still got one good thing going for it: The Stratosphere Tower. I was a bit reluctant to pay $10 for a ride to the top (non-hotel guests pay $13), but the view was well worth it. Be sure to venture up a floor above the glass, so you can step outside... more

If you don't do any other ride, do the rides onthe top of the Stratosphere Tower - they are great (even if I did have to do one on my own). more

at the top of the stratosphere tower is an observation deck, wich is reached by a very enclosed lift, its a long way up but well worth a visit just for the view, you have to pay to go up to the deck, this was done on the floor below , and security checks are also done before you go... more

If you want an amazing site to see, this is it. It is not expensive and its the most beautiful thing I have ever seen in my life. My grandmother passed away while me and my fiance were on vacation in vegas and I thought i needed to go home but I remembered her telling me about the tower and... more

To get up to buy your tickets to go atop the stratosphere is one thing, then you have to walk even further to actually get to the top. The shops that line the mall of your walk from the ticket counter to the elevators aren't very exciting, but keep in mind that you are at the North end of the... more

The price wasn't bad, we stayed three nights, no coffee pots, no fridge, a hassle to get coffee and to get anywhere. I wouldn't stay again. more
