Awesome place to get away from the traffic and crowds of the casino's. You can hike the rocks. Beautiful 13 mile one-way road around the rocks. $5 / car well worth it. A short drive outside Vegas off hwy 159 (Charleston Blvd). To get around fast in Vegas, use the Interstates. more

The last time i was at Red Rock Canyon I was 12 years old. Wow Wow its even better now. I love it.Make sure you drink lots of water. The weather is perfect in March. Very easy trip (15 minutes) from Las Vegas. The visitors center was informative and there are many great trails for an easy hike. The loop road was a great way to see it all. Look for the climbers... they're so small and not easy to spot. Take the time to hike down some the easy trails. more
