My wife and I saw the guided tour, Wes' tribute show, and Wes play at Carlucio's the next eve. Liberace's life is a testament to persistance, talent, and the ability to "get a bigger kick out of what you do than others". There are two other laughs that were musically originated. From what I have read Mozart got the biggest... more

Though we enjoyed our visit to the Liberace Museum, we thought the entrance fee a bit high. It is now $15 a person. You visit two buildings with a bit of a walk between the two. We didn't think the employees were too friendly, and no one engaged us in discussion, though we attempted with a few comments towards them... more

A couple of years ago I saw a documentary on Liberace on TV and I thought it was amazing how this man dared to go so extremely over the top with being extravagant. And openly homosexual in a time when this was not widely accepted. He was also completely sick, for instance having his boyfriend undergo cosmetic surgery to look... more

We have always said we would see the Liberace Museum "one of these days". It's not one of those "must do" items on everyone's list but it is definitely a slice of entertainment history and a celebration of a major entertainer. Indeed, you don't have to be a big fan of Liberace's to enjoy this small museum. One can see... more

You either smile at Mr. Entertainment or you dispise him. Fifty years ago, my mom went into a swoon everytime he appeared on TV---as did millions of other middle-aged women. Liberace is a social landmark. I came to appreciate just how much the guy exerted himself to earn the price of his audience's tickets. The cars, the costumes, the artifacts... more

I'm in my late 20s and I loved it. I thought the musuem was amazing, I saw the Wes Winters show. He was great, made me laugh alot and very talented. Only thing bad about the show is the seating, its General admission table seating, but no drinks are served just food from cafe.. I had a hard time seeing... more

This was one of the things I really wanted to do on our trip, remembering my grandmother visiting the museum on her trip to Vegas and talking so enthusiastically about it. We waited for the free strip bus for over 45 minutes which never showed (our fault as the the clocks changed the night before and we had forgotten) so... more

I visited the museum on my last trip to Vegas in September and it was OUTSTANDING. Seeing all Librace's memorabilia was awe inspiring. He was truly a gifted pianist and I always enjoyed each and everyone of his performances on television. I would highly recommend touring the museum and I hope to visit his home on my next trip to... more

We visited the museum about five years ago, and it is the only Vegas activity that we still talk about. The cars, the pianos, the costumes...fabulous. I was a child when he was on TV and not overly interested, but since the museum I wish I could watch him again because I would really appreciate him now. more

We visited the Museum with our 13 year old son after reading a glowing review in Frommer's. The museum is given a 3 star Moments designation-high praise indeed. Disappointingly, it wasn't as promised. The museum is in a small strip shopping centre and is quite a distance from the strip. We were unaware that there is a free shuttle from... more
