My g/f and I just loved it. We took the free shuttle from the Excallibur and had a great time. The collection of pianos was amazing. I think I took more pictures at this museum than our entire trip. You have to see the collection of his costumes too. We have a great time! more

Even after living in Las Vegas for over a year, I never found a more fun and kitschy attraction than the Liberace Museum. The tickets are a little high priced but you get a lot of Liberace for your money. The museum runs free buses from the Strip to the museum regularly, the music is incomparable, and when there's live... more

I decided that if we were going to go to Vegas we should at least pay a little visit to the Home of Kitsch itself. We got the free shuttle from the Bellagio (sadly we didn't tip the driver) and paid the $15pp admission fee. We were just in time for the guided tour and I must say it was... more

We didn't know that the museum is closed on Mondays so it would have been easier not to go back on Tuesday. Glad we did. I really didn't know much about Liberace other than seeing the flambuoyant performer on TV when I was a kid. This museum is one of a kind, just like Liberace. From his costumes, to his... more

We went to Vegas in March 08 and I was looking forward to going to the Liberace museum. It is a fair way from the strip and we took a cab there (they will give you a discount on the admission price if you do), and made sure we went when Wes Winters was playing in the afternoon. We loved... more

We visited the museum on a Sunday afternoon. It is $15 for 2 buildings: one with cars and pianos, the other with costumes and furniture. A docent in the costume building provided some interesting details on the costumes. I was surprised that there was no short movie that showed his act or described his life. It's not worth a detour. more

My wife and I saw the guided tour, Wes' tribute show, and Wes play at Carlucio's the next eve. Liberace's life is a testament to persistance, talent, and the ability to "get a bigger kick out of what you do than others". There are two other laughs that were musically originated. From what I have read Mozart got the biggest... more

Though we enjoyed our visit to the Liberace Museum, we thought the entrance fee a bit high. It is now $15 a person. You visit two buildings with a bit of a walk between the two. We didn't think the employees were too friendly, and no one engaged us in discussion, though we attempted with a few comments towards them... more

A couple of years ago I saw a documentary on Liberace on TV and I thought it was amazing how this man dared to go so extremely over the top with being extravagant. And openly homosexual in a time when this was not widely accepted. He was also completely sick, for instance having his boyfriend undergo cosmetic surgery to look... more

We have always said we would see the Liberace Museum "one of these days". It's not one of those "must do" items on everyone's list but it is definitely a slice of entertainment history and a celebration of a major entertainer. Indeed, you don't have to be a big fan of Liberace's to enjoy this small museum. One can see... more
