Check this place out at night when it is all lit up. It is near the top of any Vegas must-do list. There are also some really cheap souvenier stands in the area. Not impressed at all. The amzing show is basically a really huge video screen going the length of the street. similar shops/ bars etc to the rest of vegas but a bit cheaper. more

We were told to visit at night becuase the light show is worth seeing. We were also told to avoid the area at night becuase it is not safe. We decided to visit in the day first and then see what we thought. We didn't go back at night, i'll leave it at that. more

Getting to Fremont was a $24 cab fare + tip from the Excalibur. It was worth it. The best thing was the Light Show Canopy, not for the show. On the day we went it was 112 degrees F, and the canopy made it feel a ton cooler. It provides constant shade and makes walking ok in that heat. We... more
