It is a busy almost carnival atmosphere. Everything is so much cheaper then on the strip. Another great fact is you don't have to walk and walk and walk to get to the next casino. Stayed at the MGM Grand but did venture twice down to the The Fremont Experince. Bus pass was inexpensive and you can travel up and down the strip as much or as little as you want. What a blast! If you are staying on the Strip then make a point to go up to the old Las Vegas...Freemont Street Experience! We came here in 2000 and didn't go up and we made a point to go this time. Make sure you'll find time to visit the Fremont District when in Vegas as it's good fun.
